Wine Making Awards
2009

The Annual Amateur Wine Makers Competition (AWCI). David Schmeltzle wins five medals for five wines submitted; including a Silver Medal for his 2007 Montepulciano. Other winners include a 2008 Carménère, a 2008 Pinot Noir, a 2007 kiwi fruit wine, and a 2006 apple wine.
The International Wine Competition (INDY). David Schemltzle wins two Silver Medals for two wines submitted: a 2007 kiwi fruit wine and a 2006 apple wine.

The New York Enterprise Report. Vintners Circle Franchising (VCF) is selected as a Best Practice Finalist in the Technology category, for its best practices and technology, which provide operational management for its franchised wine making shops.
