Chenin Blanc is a white grape, originally grown in the Loire Valley in France. There, depending on the sub-region, Chenin Blanc will range from a dry, elegant wine to a super-sweet, honey-like dessert wine to a crisp, sparkling wine. Chenin Blanc has had success abroad, as well, especially in South Africa. Wines made from Chenin Blanc will often feature aromas like melon, green apple, and tropical fruits.
