Vintner’s Circle Wine Makers Take Gold, Silver and Bronze in International Competition

Members of the Vintner’s Circle wine making family won big at the 2012 WineMaker International Amateur Wine Making Competition, sponsored by WineMaker magazine. Andover shop wine makers Deborah and Dennis Haff took prizes in several categories and the Andover wine making team of Jacquie Pellek and Gayle Lembryk also made the judges take notice. David Becker Takes Gold in Wine Label Competition
Vintner’s Circle winemaker and franchisee, David Becker of Dover, New Jersey won Gold in the 2011 WineMaker Magazine Label Contest. Becker’s Curious Cats label decorates his bottle of 2009 Valpolicella Ripassa.
I’m a cat lover, so what better than two “Italian kitties” to represent my Valpolicella,” comments Becker. Becker and his wife, Tara, are award winning home winemakers and have been customers of Vintner’s Circle for many years. Recently Dave and Tara became franchisees of Vintner’s Circle Andover.
“We are delighted for Dave,” says David Schmeltzle, president of Vintner’s Circle Franchising. “He is a talented and creative winemaker. And we are pleased that they joined our team with the Vintner’s Circle Andover franchise.”
Vintner’s Circle Franchising currently operates seven wine making shops in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is expanding with eight more locations in Arizona. The shops offer wine making in a few easy steps in a comfortable setting with knowledgeable staff. A wide selection of wines is available, as well as education classes, wine tasting and special events.
