Water constitutes the majority of grape juice and wine.  We use the specific gravity of the wine to balance it properly.  When making juice kits, if you don&#039;t add the proper amount of water, the specific gravity will be off.  Depending on how far you are off, you can try adding water to the juice to reduce the specific gravity.  You could also blend the juice with another juice of lower specific gravity.
