Vintner’s Circle Andover Gives Back

June 17th, 2010 by jolan in news

Vintner’s Circle Andover hosted a special community ceremony yesterday evening, as Todd and Janine Billingsley, franchise owners of the wine making shop, presented Coupons for the Community with a check for $100. In attendance were Suzanne Stigers, head of Coupons for the Community, in addition to many of the organization’s volunteers. Neighbors from the area came to witness the event, celebrated amongst good company and handcrafted wine.

As part of Vintner’s Circle Andover’s Grand Opening celebration, from May 10th to May 16th the wine making shop donated five percent of its sales to Coupons for the Community. Todd and Janine also encouraged their customers to bring in any extra coupons to be passed onto the charitable organization. The check, and the presentation ceremony, represented a common effort to help assist neighbors who have fallen upon tough times.

Vintner’s Circle Andover has partnered with Coupons for the Community to show support for a common cause: commitment to community. Coupons for the Community is a program designed to bring together volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who are committed to support fellow Americans, one community at a time, so that everyone may live with dignity and hope. Volunteers at the organization help stretch limited dollars through the strategic use of coupons. Through joint efforts, local food pantries are provided with more food and non-edible essentials, like toiletries and hygiene products, for people who need them the most.

At all of our Vintner’s Circle wine making shops, we recognize the importance of working within our communities. Each of our shops works with a special charity and restaurant, to build strong partnerships and support local organizations. We also encourage artists to feature their work in different Vintner’s Circle locations, rounding out a distinctive neighborhood experience.
